Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026 — this is a starting template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before launch.
Cardstralia ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us and how we use it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Name, email, phone number, and shipping address — collected securely by our payment processor, Stripe, at checkout
- Email address, if you join our drop waitlist
- Basic site usage data via cookies and analytics/advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok) if enabled
How we use it
- To process and ship your order
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates
- To notify you about future drops, only if you've opted in
- To measure and improve our marketing (aggregated, via ad pixels)
Payment data
We never see or store your full card details. All payments are processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which articles and pages are useful, using cookies to distinguish visitors. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. Google Analytics only loads after you accept our cookie banner — declining means no analytics cookies are set, though the site remains fully usable either way.
You can review Google's own privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Third parties
We share the minimum information needed with Australia Post (for delivery) and Stripe (for payment). We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing contact@cardstralia.com.
